February 28th, 2008

I got these pictures of Ben and Maggie early this morning. They love to play in each other's bedrooms together. I love how Maggie is looking up at Ben in the second picture. She thinks he's the "bee's knees" !

Sledding

We took the kids sledding for the first time today. There are a few hills at a church up the street from our neighborhood where people always sled. Ben went down the hill a few times with Daddy, but then, he found the playground at the bottom of the hill. Even though we wait all year for a good sled-day, Ben still wanted to play on the slides! Maggie enjoyed the slides more than sitting in her laundry-basket-sled anyway. We dropped her down a slide and into a pile of snow at the bottom. She thought it was a hoot!

Ten Months Today

.....................................................................................Maggie is 10 months old today. She is climbing the stairs as often as she can escape our watch. She's cruising around the furniture, but she isn't quite ready to walk yet. (Mommy won't let her!)

Our friends, Cara and Becca Howard came over to play yesterday. We have been waiting for months to share some afternoon play-time with them, but with all the germs my kids seem to bring home from daycare, we just haven't had a good opportunity. Finally, a day when everyone was healthy!

Valentines for Grandma

The kids think they're in Disney World when we bring a mattress out into the bonus room and put in on the floor in the middle of the sectional sofa. They jump and jump until they can hardly stand anymore. We gave them some paper hearts and took some pictures to send to our grandmas for Valentine's Day.

Maggie: February 2, 2008

Maggie is quite the little chef in the kitchen. We have all been sick for the past week. (Actually, at least one of us has been sick every day since Christmas, but all four of us had it this past week.) Yesterday, Maggie was the first one to feel well again. I guess she decided she would help out by making a meal for the family.
