Easter Sunday

We had a great Easter morning despite the fact that Maggie and I are pretty sick. The Easter Bunny made it to our house, and in addition to lots of treat-filled eggs, he left some new Crocs for Ben and a blue stuffed bunny for Maggie.

Ben shows off his new shoes and a ring of chocolate around his mouth. He thought the M&M-filled eggs were the grand-prize of the morning. Those were consumed immediately. All the jelly bean-filled eggs were emptied into another container for Daddy. When he opened those and saw what was inside, he would say, "Bummer, Dude!" (as if they were rotten eggs).

I think Maggie was able to keep just one egg for herself. Ben claimed all the rest. Hers were filled with Teddy Grahams, much to her delight.

Great idea to fill the eggs w/teddy grahms - I should have tried that. And I don't know what's up w/jelly beans, my kids don't seem to like them either - more for me! Hope you start feeling better.

m&m's and teddy grams, I will have to try that one at our house. We did jelly beans (for G) and Whopper's robin eggs for Daddy. Genevieve didn't care for any of them, but she loves the idea of candy so much that she just kept stuffing them into our mouths! Talk about candy overload! -We were sick here on Easter weekend, too; no fun! I hope you are feeling much better now! Love you all!
